Chevron studding

Seems I’ve got a thing for chevrons lately. It may or may not be the fault of my new Laura Ashley birthday dress. I didn’t want to stamp chevrons on, or free hand them. Just imagining myself free handing them makes me laugh. Had a little mooch through my nail art case and came up with these.

1.5mm silvercircle studs

My 1.5mm silver circle studs from born pretty store. Now I have never used studs in such a big quantity before, and my god it too me forever. OK well not forever but a while.

studded chevrons

How in the world do you not get bubbles in you topcoat with large quantities of studs?! Frustrating just didn’t cover it.

mint mix up

Lets pretend the bubbles aren’t visible. This manicure all started with this O.P.I it’s been on my wish list a while. Popped into the warehouse in the week, and they had brought old collections stock out. Some were reduced but didn’t appeal. to me. Mermaids tears cost me £5.85. Just realized I owe mom the money for it. On my ring and index finger I used FGT in amaze-mint. The strips on my thumb and little finger are to reflect the chevron, so the strips are opposite on the two nails.

amaze-mint, 2true no.9 & mermaids tears

Products used: Nailtiques formula 1 base coat. O.P.I in mermaids tears. FGT in amaze-mint. 2true in shade 9. Stripping tape. 1.5mm silver circle studs, and seche vite.

Thank you.
