Something seems fishy

Although it hasn’t appeared on my blog I do own Deborah Lippmanns mermaids dream. It started a one-sided love affair where I drool over some DB’s, because at the silly price they are I’m not going to own them. Then Sally Hansen  only went and released a dupe :O!! After a quick search it seemed to only be available in the U.S :(. My polish momma Inky saved the day, and surprised me with it in my box of birthday goodies!!

Ahh that blue and green glitter feels good to soothe the polish monster within.

This colour garnered a lot of attention when I was out and about. I used an undie with mermaids tale, and used 2 coats of mermaids tale on top. With my birthday money I also ordered the gals stamping plates from Amazon. £8.99 for 25 is a bargain to me. Best thing about these plates is they include a fish scale plate!!! I fail at free handing scales. I also love the dog-tooth prints. Obviously I had to use the fish scale stamp with my mermaids tale polish!

With there being green glitter in mermaids tale I wanted to pick this up on my ring finger. Then had a little play with some blues to see which would work best for stamping. Not sure if these plates are a better quality than my others, or I’m getting better at stamping, but I only missed a tiny bit on the bottom of my nail when transferring the stamp.

Products used: usual base and top coat. Nails inc in Motcombe street as the undie. Sally Hansen complete salon manicure in mermaids dream. W.I.P in Medusa. Sinful colors in blue by you. Gals stamping plate GA14.

Thank you, and Inky!
